Welcome to Called Back to God.
My name is Florilyn Barnhart, and this blog is a testimony of God’s grace, faithfulness, and transforming power in my life.
My journey with Christ began in 2002. Before then, I knew about God, but I did not truly know Him personally. Like many people, I experienced struggles, disappointments, brokenness, and seasons of searching for purpose and meaning. Yet even when I wandered, God never stopped pursuing me.
When I surrendered my life to Jesus Christ, everything began to change. It was not an instant transformation, nor did all my problems disappear overnight. Instead, God patiently walked with me through the ups and downs of life, teaching me to trust Him, depend on His Word, and find my identity in Christ.
Over the years, I have experienced both joy and suffering. There were seasons when God seemed near and seasons when I wondered what He was doing. Yet through every trial, He remained faithful. He carried me through difficulties, strengthened my faith, and showed me that His grace is sufficient.
One of the greatest lessons I have learned is that the Christian life is not about perfection. It is about following Jesus day by day, trusting Him when life is hard, and allowing Him to transform us from the inside out.
I created Called Back to God to encourage others to return to the truth of God’s Word and grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ. In a world filled with confusion and competing voices, we need the unchanging truth of Scripture more than ever.
Through this blog, I will share biblical encouragement, personal reflections, lessons from Scripture, and the hope that can only be found in Christ.
No matter where you are in your journey, God has not forgotten you. His grace is still available. His mercy is still new every morning. And His invitation remains the same: come to Him.
Thank you for visiting Called Back to God. My prayer is that these writings will encourage your faith, strengthen your walk with Christ, and remind you that God is always faithful.
