Have you ever known of<\/em> someone without actually knowing them?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You might know their name, what they look like, and what they do for a living. But you don’t know their heart. You don’t know what makes them laugh, how they handle sorrow, or how deeply they care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For a long time, that was exactly how my relationship with God looked. I grew up knowing about<\/em>Him. I knew the Bible stories, understood the basic religious rules, and tried my best to look like I had it all together. But underneath the surface, I was searching for meaning, acceptance, and purpose in all the wrong places. I knew about the Creator, but I did not truly know Him personally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maybe you find yourself in that same place today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Difference Between Information and Intimacy<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is a vast difference between theological information and relational intimacy. The enemy knows about<\/em> God\u2014in fact, James 2:19 tells us that even the demons believe there is one God, and they shudder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Information changes your mind, but only intimacy transforms your life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When we only know about<\/em> God, our faith becomes a list of chores. We try to earn our salvation through good works or religious activities. But when we surrender our hearts to Jesus Christ, we step out of performance and into grace. We discover what Ephesians 2:8 beautifully declares:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cFor by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

A Personal God Desires Your Whole Heart<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We do not serve a cold, distant force universe away. We serve a personal God who numbers the hairs on your head and desires a deep connection with you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When you move from knowing of<\/em> Him to truly knowing<\/em> Him, everything shifts:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
